Medical Diary - Looking At The Advantages

If you have diabetes, you will become familiar with keeping track of your blood sugar and medications every day. This is called keeping a medical diary

If you are a Type 1 diabetic, you will most likely be insulin dependent, requiring one or more shots per day, and you have to keep track of your dosage, time administered, and pre-insulin and post-insulin blood sugar levels.

In addition, it is wise to track your diet or other medications, whether taken for diabetes or other conditions. You will also monitor your blood sugar levels throughout each day and you must keep a written record of this. So keeping a medical diary makes good sense for diabetics.
